MANOR – GenCap Partners has purchased 26 acres in [Manor

multifamily project called The Park at Manor Crossing.
The 586-unit community will be built in two phases. Construction begins on
phase one in fourth quarter 2022.
It will be ready for move-in in summer 2026.

AUSTIN – Foundation Communities is turning the Townplace Suites at Marriott
into an affordable housing community called Balcones Terrace.
The $26.5 million project will have 123 efficiency units. Thirty-one will be
for those earning at or below 30 percent of the median family income, 31 for
those at or below 40 percent, and 61 for those at or below 50 percent.
The city provided $2.6 million for the project.

AUSTIN – New York-based Related Companies is planning a 15-story office
tower called One Ladybird Lake.
It will be at 208 Barton Springs Rd. on the current site of the Hyatt Regency
Austin's parking lot.
Construction begins late next year with completion slated for late 2025.
AUSTIN – Industry ATX is developing a townhome project on Keilbar Ln.
called Industry Soma.
Industry Soma will have three- and four-bedroom options averaging 1,100 sf.
The 23 attached townhomes will be reserved for residents making 80 percent or
less of the area median income.
Mark Odom Studio is the architect.
Construction began this month and will wrap in fall 2023.

BUDA – Alliance Industrial has started construction on a 157,450-sf
speculative project called the Corridor Commerce Center.
Located on 12 acres along I-35, the building will have 32-ft clear heights,
two drive-in doors, and an ESFR sprinkler system.
Seeberger Architecture designed the project. Transwestern will handle leasing.
Construction wraps in March 2023.
AUSTIN – Gearspace is developing a six-acre project consisting of 68 multi-
purpose, individually owned garage condos.
The project at 14714 Fitzhugh Rd. will have condos ranging from 1,600 to
3,500 sf.
Each unit will include a 14-ft by 14-ft garage door and a mezzanine with 12 ft
of clearance.
Delivery is set for early 2023.
AUSTIN – The Geyser Group is developing a 250-unit apartment complex with 125
affordable-housing units.
The project at 2900 Oak Springs Dr. will have studio and one-, and two-bedroom
units ranging from 450 to 1,100 sf.
Manhard Consulting Ltd. is the civil engineer.
Construction begins in first quarter 2024 and will last 12 to 15 months.
