Wayfinder completes the sale of Troubadour in central Austin

​​AUSTIN – Wayfinder Real Estate has sold Troubadour, a 321-unit multifamily community at 3403 Harmon Ave.

The six-story complex has one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Sixteen are reserved for residents making less than 80 percent of the area median income.

Amenities include an outdoor movie theater, rooftop terrace, resort-style pool, and multiple courtyards.

Troubadour is expected to reach 93 percent occupancy by the end of August.

The buyer was an affiliate of Christopher Investment Co.​​

Stratus planning 316-unit community near UT Austin

​​AUSTIN – Stratus Properties is developing The Saint George, a 316-unit multifamily community near the University of Texas.

Plans call for a pool, fitness center, ​rooftop deck, and communal workspaces.

About 10 percent of units will be allocated as affordable housing.​

Comerica Bank provided a four-year, $56.8 million construction loan.

Construction begins soon and wraps in mid-2024.

The complex will have three- and four-bedroom homes ranging from 1,500 to 1,900 sf.

​Amenities will include a pool, fitness center, dog park, and game courts.

Construction begins in first quarter 2023.​

Bee Cave multifamily project gets green light

​BEE CAVE – The city council has approved the rezoning of 22 acres for the construction of a 340-unit multifamily complex in this city west of Austin.

Developer The Morgan Group plans for the community to span ten buildings with 340 apartment units and 59 attached townhomes.

Three-and-a-half acres will be allocated for scenic trails and two overlooks of the Balcones Canyonland Preserve.

The project is expected to be complete in three to five years.​

63-acre Manor townhome project gets greenlit

MANOR – The city council has unanimously voted to rezone 63 acres south of US​ 290 for a 335-townhome project​​​.

The community will have mostly three- and four-bedroom townhomes ranging from 1,100 to 1,700 sf. All homes will have a backyard and garage.

Amenities include a clubhouse, gym, pool, and 11 acres of open space with a dog park.

Mill Creek Residential is developing the site.​

113,000-sf Georgetown shopping center sells

GEORGETOWN – LRIC Properties has sold the Republic Square shopping center at 900-930 N. Austin Ave. to a California-based partnership.

The 113,772-sf center is almost 93 percent leased, housing tenants such as Dollar Tree, Harbor Freight, Starbucks, Chipotle, Pizza Hut, and more.

Disney Investment Group brokered the sale.​​

Two Georgetown self-storage facilities in the works

​​GEORGETOWN – The city council has approved construction of two self-storage facilities spanning a combined 250,000 sf.

The properties will be at 1301 NE Loop and 2701 E. University.

Plans for both sites call for three-story buildings and over 120,000 sf. The University site will have an additional 8,500 sf of rentable commercial space.

Mauldin Architects will design both projects. Construction begins later this year.​

The Link a ‘Dream’ project for SA

SAN ANTONIO – The city has begun construction on The Link, a public pathway connecting the San Antonio Riverwalk and the San Pedro Creek Culture Park.

Universal Services Group's $400 million project will include green spaces, water features, and public art. A Dream Hotel will anchor one end of the pathway.

The city has allocated $41 million to begin work.​
