Geyser Group bringing The Goodwin to Austin

​AUSTIN – Geyser Group is partnering with Sabot Development and Cadence McShane Construction on The Goodwin, a 363-unit multifamily project with 2,400 sf of retail space.

Thirty-seven of the units will be affordable housing units.

Amenities w​ill include a dog park, multiple entertainment spaces, and two pools.

The first units are expected to be completed by summer of 2023.

Tide Equities buys Park at Stone Creek in Heritage Hills

​​AUSTIN – Tide Equities has purchased Park at Stone Creek from Turner Impact Capital.

Built in 1983​, the 420-unit multifamily community at 9200 N. Plaza has one- and two-bedroom units averaging 750 sf.

Amenities include a community park, business center, sports court, fitness center, picnic areas, and two pools.

Tide Equities will spend $8.8 million on property improvements. The complex will be renamed The Tides on North Plaza.

Newmark brokered the sale.

Alta Leander Station opens

LEANDER – Wood Partners has opened Alta Leander Station, a multifamily complex at 348 Main St. north of Austin.

The community offers 276 studio and one- and two-bedroom units.

Amenities include a resort-style pool, sundeck, kitchen and grilling areas, pet play area, clubhouse, and fitness center.

Omni Business Park takes off near Austin-Bergstrom

​​AUSTIN – Development 2000 Inc. has broken ground on phase one of Omni Business Park, a 26-acre speculative project near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

The project represents a $30 million investment and will be built in three phases. The finished site will have 13 warehouses ranging from 8,000 to 20,000 sf.

Phase one calls for 174,000 sf of indoor space and five warehouses. Construction will wrap in second quarter 2023.​

Georgetown Heights open for residents

​AUSTIN – Wan Bridge has opened Georgetown Heights, a built-to-rent (BTR)​​ community at 512 Northwood Dr.

The community offers three- and four-bedroom duplexes ranging from 1,400 to 2,100 sf. Residents benefit from two-car garages, private yards, smart home packages, and 24-hour maintenance.

Georgetown Heights is part of a multi-billion-dollar expansion plan that will include developments in Houston, Dallas, and Austin suburbs. Wan Bridge looks to break ground on 20 to 30 more Texas BTR communities in the next 12 months.

Outer Aisle expanding to Texas

​KYLE – California-based Outer Aisle Gourmet LLC has leased a 117,000-sf manufacturing facility in the works at 19200 Marketplace Ave.

Construction begins in January 2023 and will take 9-12 months. The facility will create 150 jobs.

Buildout will cost under $25 million.​​
