The LKQ Pick Your Part auto salvage yard at 7900 S. Congress Avenue in Austin, TX will be transformed into a vertical mixed-use development. This new project will include more than 1,200 multifamily units, 210,000 square feet of office space, and a 136,000-square-foot shopping center. Additionally, 10 percent of the apartments will be reserved for those earning no more than 80 percent of the area median income. Construction is underway on a new 85,000-square-foot high school campus in Manor, Texas, part of the larger $174 million academic development initiative by the Manor Independent School District. The new campus is expected to be completed in time for the 2023-24 school year and will be able to accommodate approximately 800 students. The campus will feature a commons area, a buffet-style café, and a coffee shop. The opening of the new school campus is anticipated to have a positive impact on the local community and students.

The Del Valle Independent School District has purchased 149 acres in Whisper Valley for a total of $25 million. Surveying of the site has already begun and construction of the high school is scheduled to commence later this year. The land will be used for two separate educational institutions - a middle school, an elementary school, and a high school.
