Love Frosé? Love Austin? Why not combine the two and make a day of it? We’ve put together a list of fun and fabulous places to cool off with a frosé.
If you’re not exactly sure what Frosé is, let’s give you a quick primer.
Initially, it started as a frozen rosé, hence the name. But since its inception, it has transformed into something much bigger.
Many establishments are coming up with a twist of their own, sometimes using bubbly, changing flavors, and even topping off with some quality vodka.
Let’s look at 5 of the best places to drink Frosé in Austin.
#1 The Key Bar
The Key Bar is located conveniently in downtown Austin and less than 2 miles northeast of Zilker Metropolitan Park, a beautiful place to hike, bike, or swim.
The Key Bar is a fun and colorful open-air patio. It’s a great place to meet friends and enjoy a drink. Their frosés are made with a fun twist of “bubbly rose, strawberry puree, Tito’s Handmade Vodka & Licor 43” (Key Bar Menu) a local favorite.
#2 Jo’s Coffee
Don’t let the name fool you; Jo’s has a wine and beer bar too. It has a great neighborhood atmosphere, and the outdoor patio is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Try their classic frosé instead of a mimosa next time you’re there for brunch.
Also, they have two convenient locations, one on either side of Lady Bird Lake.
#3 77° Rooftop Bar
Located on the north side of Austin, it’s the tallest rooftop lounge north of downtown. If you feel like getting dressed up, check out The Domain first for upscale shopping, followed by a short stroll to the 77° Rooftop Bar.
This bar has an upscale lounge vibe with its sofa seating and dress code on the weekends. They offer a first-rate frosé which can be enjoyed on one of the four patio areas.
#4 House Wine
Looking for a place to enjoy live music? House Wine is a great place to relax and enjoy an evening on a patio listening to live music. It’s a cozy, eclectic wine café that offers a delicious variety of small plates perfect for sharing with friends.
In addition to their extensive wine list, they offer a variety of wine cocktails including a refreshing frosé.
Plus, it’s just a short walk from Butler Park Pitch and Putt, so after a round or two of golf head over to House Wine to cool off with a cold frosé.
#5 Azul Rooftop Pool Bar + Lounge
Located on the rooftop of the Westin, it’s the highest rooftop bar in downtown Austin. The evening view looking over downtown Austin is nothing short of breathtaking.
While you’re enjoying the relaxing atmosphere why not try their top-of-the-line frosé, it’s a mix of raspberry, peach, bubbly, and a dash of smooth vodka to finish it off.
If you’re from the Austin area or just visiting this is an experience you don’t want to miss.
The days are getting longer, and the sun is getting stronger. Allow yourself to check out one of our favorite Frosé spots this spring, and we’re confident you won’t be disappointed.
