The advantages look like you get to lock in a certain price at that market condition, and you also get to move into a home that is completely turnkey when it’s upon completion.
Some of the disadvantages are you going to be at the builder’s timeline. You will also be making the offer in writing the offer on their contract. Either way, it is always important to partner with a realtor that understands these contracts, has a working relationship with builders, and knows how to navigate making sure that your home closes on time.
