AUSTIN – Rex LLC is planning a $100 million expansion of Hotel Ella at 1900 Rio Grande St. The expansion will boost the historic hotel from 47 to 213 rooms. A rooftop garden, underground parking, cigar and scotch bar, basement wine bar, and restaurant will also be added.
